The vision of the Friends organization is to "Build a Better Library" bringing the community together, inspiring personal growth, and transforming lives through knowledge and literacy.

The mission of the Friends is to support the Bosler Memorial Library through fundraising, promoting public awareness and volunteerism.

“A new organization open to all persons interested in the welfare of the Bosler Free Library was formed last night when 50 men and women heard the needs of the library outlined by a members of its officers.

The organization is to be known as the library association or the friends of the library. The name will be selected at the next meeting in September when officers will be elected and a constitution and by-laws adopted.

Glenn E. Todd, president of the board of directors of the library, said the purpose of the group is to encourage the growth and development of the library and to aid in finding ways and means for financial support. It was asserted that there would be no membership dues and that all interested persons would be cordially welcomed.”
